Scented candles

Scented candles will generally make use of fragrance oils. As the name sounds, these are primarily intended for the purpose of spreading a pleasant scent throughout the room. Still, this is not the only option available when it comes to these candle styles.

Some scented candles make use of essential oils. In addition to the pleasant fragrance that they provide, they may also be prized for therapeutic use. This is because certain essential oils are associated with healing and relaxation. Those interested in exploring these opportunities should look more deeply into what is called aromatherapy.

Scented candles are considered desirable for their ability to encourage a wonderful atmosphere. It is important to realize that they also cause soot within the home. This is known to lead to blemishes around the home. Some studies are also exploring the potential resulting health risk. For these reasons, it is wise to limit the use of such products to special occasions.
