Does gel wax come in different grades?

Yes. The patent for the gel wax process is owned by the company Penreco. They distribute the gel under the name VersaGel. These are available in high, medium, and low density grades. The different grades affect how easy the gel melts, pours, embeds, and holds fragrance oils.
